InHouse on the 4th Plinth

Between 0000-0100 on Tuesday 8 September, Managing Consultant at InHouse Graham Sykes will become the 1528th person to stand on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square as part of Antony Gormley's ‘One & Other' art project.

The project will see 2400 randomly drawn people spend an hour each from June to October to make up a monument in time.

Graham will spend his time documenting his hour by taking photographs and immediately uploading them to the internet so that viewers can share the experience with him.

Graham says: "My interests are technology, creativity and communication, and as such I wanted to combine all three on the plinth."

"Antony Gormley has said he wants the combined accumulation of people to represent what Britain is like in 2009. As a result, I feel that my small contribution will wave a flag for the things I am interested in."

"It will be me, a camera, a Mac and a wireless internet connection. If nothing works when I'm up there, then I guess I'll have to deliver a marketing seminar or tell a few jokes."

A live feed of Graham on the plinth can be seen at www.oneandother.co.uk. Photographs taken during the hour will be uploaded to a photostream on Flickr www.flickr.com/graham[underscore]inhouse. If you would like to communicate directly with Graham in the run up and whilst he is on the plinth, this can be done via his Twitter feed www.twitter.com/graham[underscore]inhouse.
