Northern Housing Consortium

Northern Housing Consortium represent the interests of housing organisations and provide activity and support to members in order to make them more efficient and to ensure that they keep abreast of the latest Government policies and regulations.

Following an intensive period of consultation, NHC had a detailed business plan and a key idea of their strategic direction, but were unsure how to interpret it creatively.

As part of the consultative process, InHouse pulled together over 200 pages of research and reports into a simple one-page A3 document. At this stage, it was clear that a number of issues needed to be addressed, some of which where pivotal to the perceived strategic direction.

By making recommendations in a creative way and demonstrating how key changes would work visually, members of the executive board were able to easily understand the implications of the proposals and see instantly the added value that they would bring to the communication objectives of the organisation.

Rather than a completely new brand, InHouse built on the familiarity and recognition of the existing logo, and modernised it and adapted it to work with the four new themes that all activity and support delivered by NHC falls under. A sub brand ?Consortium Procurement' was also developed to work with both housing and non-housing organisations.
